Today is my birthday. Before my father died, he used to send me a little something with my birthday card so that I could go out fishing to celebrate the day. He loved seafood. He enjoyed the ocean. He would have loved to walk this shoreline. The last time my Dad and I spent the day at the ocean was at Bodega Bay. We fished a bit, but didn't catch anything. Got skunked. We enjoyed the day, just the same. We were together. Sharing thoughts, sharing ideas, sharing opinions.
